KONIGSBERG GOLD. Is one of the most beloved tomato varieties among gardeners. It was named after the German city of Königsberg, where it was originally bred. The plant has a compact bush, 1-1.3 m tall in open ground, moderately tall, and strong. It forms compact clusters with many fruits. A special trait of Konigsberg is its excellent adaptation to various climates, allowing cultivation in different regions. Taking care of Konigsberg requires no special skills. It is well-adapted to tomato-growing conditions and doesn’t require much effort in maintenance. It tolerates both heat and cold well and is drought-resistant. FRUIT AND COLOR

The fruits have a beautiful, round, smooth shape with vibrant color. The hue is ochre-orange, dark golden — deeply saturated. The juice has the same rich color — thick, fragrant, and delicious! The fruit shape is elongated, like a plum, sometimes with a small pointed tip. Inside they are dense and juicy. The skin is firm, which adds visual appeal and ensures long storage in excellent commercial condition. Highly recommended as one of the best pickling varieties and for fresh consumption.
