KOZULA-136 FLAT YELLOW ZEBRA. A young and rare variety by Anna Jankowski (Anna Kozula), Poland. Plant height in open ground is 1.5-1.6 m. Each cluster forms 4-6 large, multi-chambered, smooth, flat-round fruits, yellow-pink on the outside and inside. Very beautiful, orange-red fruits, fleshy, with marbled flesh, juicy, sweet, with an excellent rich flavor rated 5+. Inside, the flesh is bright yellow with raspberry streaks and a marbled pattern. Fruit weight ranges from 200 to 500 g. Like all yellow-pink bicolors, Kozula-136 is very sweet, with dense flesh, juicy, and delicately aromatic.
With enough sunlight, raspberry tones in the fruit coloring begin to dominate. This is a mid-season, highly productive, unpretentious, and disease-resistant variety. The fruits are characterized by high density and a thick, durable skin, making them resistant to cracking even with fluctuations in humidity or prolonged ripening on the vine. This feature makes the variety particularly well-suited for both open-field and greenhouse cultivation, as well as appealing for commercial production.
The harvest can be collected at full maturity without concern for spoilage or losses during storage and transportation. The fruit color is rich orange, highlighted by striking raspberry streaks radiating from the stem and spreading across the surface like sunbeams. This vibrant coloration gives the tomatoes an exotic and festive appearance. When cut open, the flesh is bright yellow, juicy, with a bronze tint, and an intense red core that appears to glow from within.
