KOZULA-159. A mid-season, tall, and high-yielding tomato variety. The plants are indeterminate and reach up to 1.5 meters in open ground. They form strong, well-foliated bushes with a robust root system, and require staking and pruning to ensure optimal yields. The fruits are pear-shaped, uniform, dense, and firm, showing excellent resistance to cracking. They have good shelf life and transportability. These tomatoes are very meaty, with minimal seeds and juice, and have excellent market appeal. Average fruit weight is between 40 and 80 grams. The flavor is rich and balanced, with a distinct tomato acidity and pronounced sweetness.
They taste especially good with a little salt, which enhances the overall flavor. Taste rating on a five-point scale ranges from good to excellent. The variety is versatile in use. Thanks to their dense texture and meatiness, the fruits retain their shape during cooking and do not fall apart. The plants are resistant to major tomato diseases, including late blight and blossom-end rot, when grown with proper care. They adapt well to various weather conditions and produce stable yields even in less favorable seasons.
