KOZULA-20 CHERRY CHOCOLATE (KOZULA-20 WIŚNIOWO CZEKOLADOWY). An indeterminate, tall-growing variety with vigorous plant development. Depending on growing conditions, plants reach a height of 1.5-2 m. It is a mid-season variety that consistently produces high yields both in open ground and in greenhouses. The variety is valued for its strong growth, resilience, and exceptionally high productivity, often regarded as one of the best among large-fruited tomatoes. Fruits are large, round to flattened in shape, sometimes slightly ribbed.
The base skin color is light green; as the fruits mature, an expressive cherry-chocolate, red-purple blush appears, giving the tomatoes a striking and unusual appearance. Average fruit weight ranges from 300 to 470 g, while with good care individual fruits can reach 500-600 g. The flesh is dense yet very juicy, yellow-green in color with a pinkish-purple hue inside. The texture is meaty, with few seeds. Fresh fruits make a particularly strong impression.
Flavor is one of the key highlights of this variety: richly sweet, smooth, and well-balanced, with a pronounced “dessert” note, which is reflected in the name “Cherry Chocolate.” The variety is distinguished by impressive yields, with abundant fruit set and large, uniform tomatoes. Perfect for fresh consumption, salads, slicing, and premium-quality farm produce. The variety is also known under the extended name Wiśniowo Czekoladowy (Cherry Chocolate), emphasizing its distinctive coloration and rich flavor.
