KOZULA-60, Poland. A mid-season beauty! The bush reaches 1.1 m. in open ground, strong and sturdy, with truly massive and heavy clusters. No small fruits – all weigh 450 g and more. Large, flattened fruits with a beautiful, regular shape that fill your palm. A bright, rich yellow color with red rays spreading from the top of the fruit. The taste is excellent — insanely juicy, delicious, with fruity notes and jelly-like flesh, sweet!
Created by crossing Copia and Big Zebra varieties. The fruits are meaty, juicy, with a very good flavor — though not exceptional, rated only 4 out of 5 in the 2019 season. The tomato has a pleasant aroma. The flesh has dense red "marbling" in the center. The seeds of this variety were purchased in Poland. Top score for taste! Top score for ultra-bright flesh! A unique spectacle! Highly recommended for fans of vibrant varieties!
HISTORY OF THE KOZULA SERIES
The author and creator of these varieties is Polish breeder Anna Jankowska (Anna Kozula). Each line in this series goes under the name "Kozula" with a numerical identifier. For many years, the breeder has been crossing the most beautiful and tasty tomato varieties, creating stunning mixes and novelties.
The original seeds of "Kozula" tomatoes are collectible and can only be found in private collections. Major seed companies do not produce them. Almost all varieties are stabilized, though slight variations can occasionally occur.
