KUKLA’S PORTUGUESE HEART. The plant grows to about 1.8 meters in open ground. It has a strong, wide bush with drooping foliage. A mid-to-late season variety. The fruits are striking red heart-shaped tomatoes, uniform in size and shape. Weight ranges from 250 to 400 grams. Each cluster produces 2-4 fruits. Grown using a three-stem method. The tomatoes are smooth, firm, free of cracks or blemishes, and have excellent keeping quality. While large tomatoes often crack toward the end of the season, this variety shows no such issue. All fruits fully ripen, with dense flesh that is neither watery nor loose. Very meaty and flavorful! The taste is sweet with a hint of acidity — just enough to enhance the flavor without overpowering it. Top marks for both appearance and yield!
