KYZYL TAU, Kazakhstan. The variety was bred and first introduced by Vitaliy Gennadievich Alifirov, a talented breeder from Almaty, Kazakhstan. It’s a mid-season variety with toy-like fruits. Bright red, refined heart-shaped tomatoes, rich in color, ripen fully without leaving any green shoulders. The elongated tip of the heart makes this variety truly unique. Each fruit on the bush is a separate work of art. The fruits are small, weighing 150-160 g, but the overall yield is above average.
The bush reaches 1.3 meters outdoors, wide and sprawling, with drooping leaves. The flesh is very dense, and juice trickles down it; the flavor is sweet and sour, yet very delicious! The flesh has almost no seed cavities and very few seeds. You will definitely enjoy its taste, especially if you are genetically inclined towards sweet tomatoes with a spicy or even fruity dessert-like flavor. The taste is so perfectly balanced that tasting Kyzyl Tau is pure pleasure. Highly recommended!
