LIFE IN PINK (LA VIE EN ROSE). A modern, very recently developed and stabilized variety created by Terry Tassone. It is the result of a cross between 'Brown's Yellow Giant' and an unknown pink tomato. The variety is considered stable. It is a mid-season, tall, and productive tomato with excellent disease resistance. The plant is indeterminate and reaches about 1.5 meters in height in open ground.
Even in difficult seasons, it shows outstanding resistance: the foliage remains completely healthy without any signs of disease, even under adverse weather conditions. The variety produces reliably in various climates, including hot, cool, or variable summers. It forms large, meaty fruits with a rich deep pink color both inside and out.
TOMATO CHARACTERISTICS
The skin is smooth, firm, and resistant to cracking. Slight ribbing is visible at the stem end. Fruits typically weigh between 300 and 600 grams, with some reaching even more under optimal care. The tomatoes are uniform in shape and size, making them ideal for fresh consumption and for making sauces.
The flavor is bright, rich, and well-balanced, with pronounced sweetness, a light tang, and a classic old-fashioned tomato aroma. They store well at room temperature, maintaining both taste and appearance for a long time. The original seeds were sourced from France.
