LADY. An early large-fruited red beef tomato with dense "meaty" flesh and few seeds. Shape is round-flattened with prominent ribs at the fruit base. The cut reveals dense flesh with small seed chambers and little juice. Does not leak. Very aromatic. One of the season’s hits - yield is above average.
Tall, mid-season, high-yielding variety with very strong bushes. Yield and uniformity of the giant fruits are outstanding. The smallest fruit weighed 360 g., and the largest nearly 800 g., with many fruits reaching that size. Fruits are deep red, shiny, without spots or cracks, and with light ribbing.
The variety impressed us greatly, especially with the excellent taste of its fleshy, low-juiciness fruits. Sweetness rated 5+. Thick skin ensures fruits withstand long-distance transport. Bushes are strong, up to 2.0 meters tall, with 3-4 fruits per cluster weighing 550–800 g. Taste — rich, classic tomato flavor with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
TOP VARIETIES:
- Oxheart. An iconic variety recognizable by its large, heart-shaped fruits. Single tomatoes weigh 500–800 g, sometimes even over a kilogram. Flesh is very tender, sweet, juicy, almost seedless. Perfect for fresh salads and summer dishes. Requires staking due to fruit weight.
- Russian Giant. One of the most powerful varieties, with fruits weighing up to 1.2 kg. Bright red, round tomatoes with dense, meaty flesh. Rich, sweet, and aromatic flavor. Needs careful care and bush formation.
- Aboriginal. Large-fruited, resistant to adverse conditions. Fruits weigh 400–700 g, heart-rounded in shape, bright red. Flesh is dense, sugary, with a rich flavor. Suitable for open ground and greenhouses.
- Novikov's Giant. One of the oldest and most respected giant varieties. Fruit weight often exceeds 800 g, reaching up to 1 kg in greenhouses. Fruits are heart-rounded, richly red, extremely sweet. Requires strong stem formation and regular staking.
- King of Siberia. Despite the "northern" name, one of the largest and sweetest red tomatoes. Fruits up to 800 g ripen even in cool summers.
- American Ribbed. Spectacular variety with unusual ribbed surface, fruits weighing 600–900 g. Dense, slightly sweet-sour flesh, excellent for salads and roasting.
