LESYA ORANGE. A wonderful Ukrainian family-bred variety from the Bilous family in the Khmelnytskyi region. This is an early-ripening, high-quality, and very flavorful tomato that quickly gained popularity among gardeners and collectors. The plants are compact, only 50-70 cm tall, easy to care for, and well-suited for both open ground and greenhouses. The fruits are heart-shaped, sometimes with a graceful pointed “nipple,” and colored in a bright orange shade that makes them especially attractive.
Average fruit weight is 100-200 g. The flesh is meaty and firm, with walls 8-10 mm thick, yet remains juicy and pleasantly crunchy. The flavor is sweet and well-balanced, with a rich fruity-peppery aroma, making this tomato highly versatile. It is excellent for fresh eating, salads, juices, sauces, and also for canning — the fruits retain their shape and taste under any processing.
This variety is distinguished by stable yields, uniform ripening, and resistance to common tomato diseases. Thanks to the combination of earliness, beauty, and refined taste, it is considered one of the best in its class. Not surprisingly, it enjoys high demand and has received great recognition from both amateurs and professionals.
