LINNIE’S OXHEART. A variety from the USA. The plant is about 0.8 meters tall, slender, with drooping foliage. It is a mid-season variety, originally known for producing large fruits. Yields are high. The fruits have a classic pink-raspberry heart shape, without green shoulders or cracking. The flavor is balanced, with sweetness harmoniously combined with a slight tang – very pleasant.
One of the best heirloom varieties. The fruits are uniform, averaging 250–400 g, with some reaching up to 900 g. The flesh is deeply colored and very rich. These tomatoes are tasty, meaty, fragrant, and aromatic. It has been an American favorite for many years, often described as having a delightfully full and well-rounded flavor.
