LUNAR ECLIPSE (LUNNOYE ZATMENIYE). An indeterminate variety bred by N. V. Zhigalin (2020). The tall plants form vigorous bushes with good foliage and stable fruit set. The variety is suitable for growing both in greenhouses and open ground, characterized by high yield and a long fruiting period. The fruits are large, flat-round in shape, with noticeable ribbing, dense and attractive. The average weight is 200-300 g, with individual fruits reaching up to 600 g.
The coloration is unusual — yellow-orange with pinkish hues and anthocyanin streaks, giving the fruits a very striking appearance. The flesh is juicy, soft and fleshy, with a small number of seed chambers. The taste is sweet, rich, with pleasant fruity and slightly exotic notes. The variety is valued for its beautiful fruit coloration, large fruit size, and high taste qualities, making it well-suited for both fresh consumption and salads.
