MARCHENFEE (Fairy Tale Fairy), Germany. A new and very striking variety from German breeding. This tomato belongs to the new Cleverhof Fairy Tale series, which includes many varieties. "Fairy Tale Angel" is one of the most attractive varieties in the series. A mid-season tomato with a delicate pink hue and a slight anthocyanin expression on the skin. In open ground, the bush grows up to 1.5 meters. The bush is medium-strong, with thin but sturdy stems, not weak. The inflorescences are simple and semi-complex; the bush is literally covered with clusters of fruits from bottom to top, with a very high yield.
The fruit shape is plum-amphora. When fully ripe, the tomatoes acquire a soft pink color, with delicate anthocyanin streaks appearing at the base of the upper part of the fruit. Please note: the more sun the fruits get, the more intense the anthocyanin expression. Attached are photos of fruits from mid-November. The photos show fruits 2 months after harvesting and storage. It’s clear they ripen well, becoming even brighter with rich ink-purple patches. Uniquely beautiful!
