FAIRYTALE GOLD (MARCHENGOLD), Germany. This is a new and very attractive German-bred variety from the "Kleverhof Fairy Tale" series. Fairytale Gold is a mid-early cluster-type tomato variety. The plant grows up to 1.2 m tall, with medium vigor but not weak. The fruits are small plum-shaped tomatoes with an orange shade close to yellow-golden color. They are dense, firm, well-storable, and resistant to rot, possessing an excellent sweet-fruity flavor. The flesh is firm and meaty, with a minimal number of seeds.
The fruit shape truly resembles a golden-colored plum with a pointed tip. When biologically ripe, the tomatoes first turn yellow and then acquire a rich golden hue. This variety is highly productive! Despite the delicate structure of the plant, many fruits hold firmly on the stems. One of the few tomatoes of this type, perfectly suited for greenhouse, open-ground, and container cultivation. SHAPE AND TASTE:
The fruits have an ideal marketable appearance, free of cracks and green shoulders, fully ripened. The skin is glossy, as seen in the photos. When cut, the tomatoes are very aromatic, with 2-3 seed chambers. The walls are thick and meaty, with dense skin ensuring good transportability. The flavor is spicy-sweet and fruity! The fruits feature very dense, meaty walls and a high content of dry matter.
