MAVKA, Ukraine. A new variety developed by Ukrainian breeder Oleksiy Kulik from the city of Akhtyrka. Early-ripening, tall-growing. The bushes are strong and tall — reaching up to 1.8 meters in open ground. Leaves are of the potato type. Fruits are plum-shaped, yellow-golden in color, weighing up to 20 grams. They are very firm, crunchy when bitten, with a candy-like taste and a bright spicy and sweet aroma.

Clusters contain from 8 to 30 fruits, often forming pairs of clusters at the bottom and top of the bush. The variety has high disease resistance. Recommended for cultivation even in areas frequently affected by late blight. Like many new varieties, it impresses with the strength of the bush and the number of fruiting clusters. Apparently, the variety's name acts as a kind of talisman against any adverse factors that hinder plant development.

FEATURES OF THE MAVKA VARIETY:

A wonderful mid-early sunny golden cherry variety. Huge potential and bush vigor! In open ground, the plant reaches the height of support at 1.6 m, breaks through the netting, and continues to grow. The number of clusters is impressive: each has 6–7 fruits, distributed over the entire bush, and unlike most multi-fruit varieties, almost every flower turns into fruit.

The yield remains high throughout the entire season. Clusters form often and continuously during the growing period! Two bushes can fully supply a family with canned cherries for the whole winter. The fruits store excellently and transport easily. The main value is the amazing taste.
