MAYO'S DELIGHT. A very beautiful, bright red, mid-season heart-shaped tomato. The plant is 1.2–1.8 meters tall, of moderate strength, with 3–4 fruits per cluster. All tomatoes are vivid and uniform, with no small fruits. The fruits are bright, very dense, with an ideal commercial look, long shelf-life, and excellent transportability. The flesh is rich red, free of fibers and unripe patches, homogeneous, very juicy, and has a melting, sweet flavor.
Weight up to 600 grams. Tall, mid-season, very productive large-fruited variety. Large red fruits, mostly heart-shaped, weighing 250–600 grams, with slight ribbing near the stem. Fruit shapes may vary on the same plant. Very meaty, low-juice content, with an excellent rich taste and pleasant aroma. Highly praised on international tomato forums. Grows well both in open ground and in greenhouses. As greenhouse seasons are longer, yields tend to be higher.
