KAZAKH PLUM. Is a rare and truly valuable heirloom variety with a rich family history. In open ground conditions, plants reach a height of about 1.2 meters, forming a strong, well-leafed bush. The fruits are large for a plum-shaped tomato, averaging 250-400 grams, uniform, fleshy, and very attractive in appearance. The tomatoes are not only beautiful but also exceptionally flavorful — with a rich, well-balanced taste, pronounced sweetness, and dense, juicy flesh. They are ideal for fresh consumption as well as for processing into sauces, juices, and thick tomato pastes. A true treasure for connoisseurs of time-tested heirloom varieties.
The history of this variety spans more than 80 years. The seeds were passed on to us by a 70-year-old woman, who inherited the variety from her mother, who had brought it from Kazakhstan in her youth. Thanks to this, Kazakh Plum has preserved its authenticity and the true taste qualities of traditional old folk varieties. In our collection, this tomato ranks among the best for yield and disease resistance. The plants bear fruit consistently even in unfavorable seasons, tolerate weather fluctuations well, and are practically resistant to the most common tomato diseases.
