MICRO DWARF VILMA. Origin: Russia. An ultra-compact, early-maturing tomato variety of universal use, perfectly suited for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. It is not only productive but also highly ornamental, making it an excellent choice for windowsills, balconies, and terraces. The plant belongs to the micro dwarf type and features an extremely compact growth habit. The bush is determinate, with very short internodes and dense, slightly rugose foliage. The mature plant usually reaches a height of 20-25 cm, and only rarely up to 40 cm under more spacious growing conditions.
No pruning or shaping is required; the plant remains neat and stable. This is an early variety, with a growing season of approximately 95-100 days from germination to the start of fruiting. Flower clusters are very dense, each carrying 6-7 fruits, ensuring uniform and abundant ripening even on such a miniature plant. Fruits are small, round, deep red in color, weighing 15-20 grams, classified as large cherry type.
The flesh is firm, crunchy, and at the same time very juicy, with a pronounced aroma and flavor reminiscent of old-fashioned, classic tomatoes — a rare quality among dwarf varieties. The variety is highly cold-tolerant and shows low sensitivity to low temperatures, allowing it to perform well under unstable growing conditions. It is especially recommended for growing in pots, containers, and planters, including year-round windowsill cultivation with sufficient light.
