MILLWOOD'S INSPIRATION. This variety was developed by breeder Rob Two-Hawks as a cross between Jewish and Guido. It is named in honor of his close friend, Gary Millwood — a long-time tomato collector and enthusiast. This is a tall, mid-season tomato variety with outstanding taste and appearance. The plants are indeterminate, vigorous, and require staking and pruning. Bushes are leafy and thrive both in open ground and in greenhouses.
Plant height in open ground reaches about 1.5 m, and up to 1.7 m in greenhouses. The fruits are true giants — round-flat in shape, sometimes with a slight heart-like appearance. They feature a rich, deep pink color. The flesh is dense, meaty, with minimal seeds. The fruit’s firm structure ensures excellent transportability and long shelf life. Average fruit weight ranges from 200 to 500 grams, with some even larger. One of the most beautiful tomatoes of the season — a real jewel for your garden and table.
The flavor is one of the brightest of the 2023 season. A perfect balance of sweetness and gentle acidity gives the fruit a rich and harmonious profile. Especially delicious when lightly salted — the aroma intensifies, and the flavor becomes even more expressive. The taste is rated 5 out of 5. Yield is also excellent — 5+ points: fruits set abundantly and consistently. Ideal for fresh eating and culinary creativity. Without a doubt, a very exciting new addition to our collection!
