MISSOURI PINK LOVE APPLE. A mid-early, medium-height, highly productive tomato variety. This variety is considered a true legend of American breeding. Its history dates back to the Civil War era, highlighting its uniqueness and proven reliability. The plants are compact, well-ventilated, and not prone to disease due to reduced foliage density. Leaves are of regular type. Easy to grow — no pruning required, which makes it ideal even for beginner gardeners. The fruits are light pink, smooth, uniform in size and shape, and free from green shoulders.
The skin is thick but tender, making the tomatoes highly transportable with excellent market appeal. They ripen evenly and simultaneously, simplifying the harvest. The flesh is meaty and juicy with a jelly-like consistency. The flavor is rich and bright, with a classic tomato aroma. In cooler weather (like July), acidity becomes more noticeable despite the sweetness. In August, as temperatures rise, sweetness increases while acidity decreases.
In warm seasons, the taste is especially rich, well-balanced, and expressive. Taste rating is up to 5 out of 5. Fruits that ripen in warm and sunny conditions are especially delicious. The variety is stable and adaptable to a wide range of climates. Suitable for both open ground and greenhouse cultivation. Excellent for fresh use, juices, sauces, and processing. The seeds were sourced from the USA, ensuring varietal purity.
