MISSOURI ROSE. Mid-season, indeterminate tomato variety, developed by breeder B. Jeffers through crossing the well-known "Cherokee Purple" variety with the hybrid "Summerpink F1". Thanks to the successful selection of parental lines, the variety combines high yield, excellent taste, and attractive appearance. The plants are vigorous, reaching a height of 1.8-2 meters in open ground, and require staking and pruning (it is recommended to grow in 1-2 stems).
The leaves are of the potato-leaf type, and the bushes are quite dense, which helps protect the fruits from sunburn, but at the same time they require moderate pruning to ensure good ventilation and disease prevention. The yield is above average, and with proper care the variety consistently produces abundant harvests of large fruits. The fruits are large, weighing from 250 to 500 grams, and sometimes even more if fruit set is regulated.
FEATURES OF THE TOMATO
The shape is round-flat, slightly ribbed, with characteristic raised shoulders, giving the tomatoes a unique appearance. The color is rich pink, the skin is thin but quite strong. The flesh is dense, meaty, multi-chambered, with a small amount of seeds. The taste is excellent, an ideal balance between sweetness and light acidity, with a pleasant tomato aroma. These tomatoes are perfect for fresh consumption, as well as for making sauces, juices, salads, and other dishes.
The variety is especially valued for its stability, large fruit size, and taste qualities. Ideal for those who grow tomatoes for personal consumption and want not only beautiful but truly tasty fruits. The seeds of this variety were obtained from Canada, which guarantees purity of the line and high quality of the seed material. The tomato is well adapted to various climatic conditions and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses.
