MOM'S (MOTHER). A new variety introduced in 2023, which has already won the hearts of gardeners thanks to its outstanding qualities. It was the earliest bicolor of season, combining striking appearance, excellent flavor, and consistent productivity. The plant forms a strong and compact bush, reaching up to 1.3 meters in open ground. It handles weather fluctuations well, requires minimal care, and shows stable growth even in challenging conditions.
Each cluster produces 4 to 5 large fruits, making this variety both high-yielding and convenient to harvest. The fruits are a true gem in the garden! They are large, weighing between 180 and 400 grams, with a slightly flattened shape that gives them a distinctive look. The color is bright orange with a deep red blush, both on the outside and inside. This bicolor effect looks stunning when sliced and is perfect for salads.
EARLY VARIETIES
Early bicolor tomatoes are varieties with two-tone fruit coloring that ripen earlier than others. Here are a few examples:
-
Pork Chop — a yellow-orange tomato with stripes, ripening in 70–75 days. Noted for its sweet flavor and meaty flesh.
-
Lucky Tiger — an early variety (about 60 days), green-yellow with red stripes. It has a rich and sweet taste.
-
Dwarf Sweet Sue — early variety (about 70 days), yellow-cream with a red blush. Compact plant, ideal for containers.
-
Ananas Noire — an interesting dark green tomato with a red hue. Although not always classified as a bicolor, its early variants may qualify.
