MOONLIGHT MILE, variegated. The variety was bred by Blane Horton. The tomato’s parents are two varieties: Karsons First (striped plum) and Faelans First Snow (flat-round purple). Both parent varieties had variegated foliage. This is an early and very unusual variety that attracts attention from the very first leaves. These tomatoes can be grown as ornamental plants: two-tone, incredibly beautiful leaves, striped stems and branches, and fruits that ripen very impressively.
Even among thousands of varieties in the collection, we had never seen such beauty. The stripes on the fruits persist almost until full ripeness, then gradually merge with the main color. The taste is outstanding — tender, melting, juicy, and balanced. The bush grows up to 1.9 meters outdoors, is very productive and strong, with potato leaves. Each truss forms 5-8 fruits weighing 100-120 g. I highly recommend this variety! For its appearance, taste, and yield — top marks!
