MORADO ANDALUSIA, PURPLE ANDALUSIA. An elegant mid-season variety originating from sunny Spain, from the Andalusia region, province of Cádiz. Distinguished not only by its noble origin but also by truly premium taste and external qualities. The plants are tall, vigorous, reaching a height of about 1.5 m. It performs best when formed into 2 stems, ensuring stable and high yields. The fruits are flat-round, uniform, smooth, with an average weight of 180-300 g, with individual specimens reaching 400-450 g. Fruiting is extended, allowing for harvesting over a long period. The color is very intense – dark brown-burgundy, while the flesh inside is a deep dark crimson.
The fruit surface is matte, as if lightly dusted, without a pronounced gloss, giving them a special, noble appearance. The flesh is very juicy, meaty, with an excellent balanced flavor: pronounced sweetness harmoniously combines with a light tomato acidity. The taste is rich, full-bodied, and rightly scores 5 out of 5. Ideal for fresh consumption, salads, slicing, and gourmet dishes. 4-6 fruits form in each cluster, which fill out well and ripen evenly. The variety is valued for its stable yield, expressive color, and outstanding taste qualities. Morado Andalusia is an excellent choice for collectors, connoisseurs of dark-fruited tomatoes, and those looking for a variety with character and a Mediterranean soul.
