MR. STRIPEY. A striking mid-season indeterminate variety that immediately catches attention with its unusual appearance and excellent flavor. The plant is vigorous, reaching about 1.6-1.8 m in height, and requires staking and proper training to achieve maximum yield. Fruits are large to very large, weighing 300-800 g, flat-round or slightly ribbed in shape. The coloration is truly decorative: a rich orange-red background adorned with bold yellow and light stripes and streaks. The uniqueness of the variety lies in the fact that its impressive striping is visible not only on the outside.
The flesh is meaty, juicy, and tender, with a high sugar content. On the cut, it is beautifully marbled with attractive patterns. The flavor is well-balanced, very sweet, almost without acidity, with light fruity notes — one of the best among bicolor tomatoes. This variety is perfect for salads, slicing, and elegant presentation. Seeds are few, making the fruits especially valuable for fresh consumption. Due to its large fruit size and dessert-quality taste, it is considered a true delicacy among collectible tomatoes. Yields are stable with proper care, especially in greenhouses or warm climates.
