NORTHERN LIGHTS. An extra-early, low-growing, high-yielding variety that should not be confused with the American large-fruited tomato of the same name. This is an independent, time-tested line that has been in our collection for over 20 years and consistently confirms its best qualities. The plant is determinate, compact, about 50 cm tall in open ground. The bush is neat, easy to care for, suitable for growing without complex pruning. It is characterized by the uniform ripening of fruits, which is especially valuable for early harvesting and obtaining a mass yield.
The fruits weigh 50-150 g, uniform, neat, of universal purpose. Despite the fact that in low-growing varieties the taste qualities are often inferior to tall giants, this variety is a pleasant exception. For the determinate group, a taste level of 5 points is a great rarity, and "Northern Lights" confidently demonstrates a harmonious, rich tomato flavor. The variety is distinguished by very high resistance to late blight and consistently high yields even in unfavorable years. A reliable, early, and hardy tomato for open ground.
