ODEON. Is a mid-season, low-growing, semi-determinate, high-yielding tomato variety. In open ground, the plants reach a compact height of 40 to 50 cm, making this variety especially suitable for small plots and limited spaces. Each bush forms a dense, rounded shape, completely covered with fruits of remarkable density and uniformity. In the 2022 season, the variety showed exceptional resistance to weather extremes and adverse conditions.
The fruits of this variety are among the firmest we have grown during the season. They are glossy, rich bright red, and ideal for market sales thanks to their optimal weight of 50 to 100 grams. These tomatoes have a meaty texture with moderate juice content, making them versatile for both fresh consumption and canning. The flavor is excellent — rich, well-balanced, and aromatic, standing out pleasantly among other varieties.
When canned, the tomatoes retain their shape and can be easily sliced with a knife, which is especially valuable for preparing salads and preserves. We planted over 50 bushes on our plot, and each one delivered a superb harvest of high-quality fruits. This variety has rightfully earned a permanent place in our collection due to its stable productivity and outstanding flavor qualities. The seeds were purchased in Germany, ensuring high quality and authenticity of the planting material.
