OLIVE RED (RED BERRY). Is part of the special family series of varieties called “BERRY”. This is more than just a collection of cherry tomatoes — it is a true family heirloom belonging to a Ukrainian family that has been growing these tomatoes for around 50 years. Despite the huge number of modern varieties and hybrids available today, these time-tested heirloom tomatoes preserve a unique atmosphere and a special connection to tradition. RED BERRY is a mid-season variety with a powerful indeterminate plant. In the open field, it easily exceeds 2 meters in height and develops a strong stem with a broad, spreading habit.
The trusses are simple and semi-complex, numerous, usually carrying 8 fruits or more. Each cherry tomato weighs approximately 20–30 g. The plant actively continues setting new fruit and is highly productive. The fruits are bright red, round, fairly firm and completely resistant to cracking. The flesh inside is equally vivid in color, with thick walls and without excess wateriness, yet remains very juicy and aromatic. The flavor is pleasant and sweet, with a pronounced, rich tomato character.
