OLIVETTE STRIPED. An interesting collectible variety with unknown origins, valued for its unusual coloration and abundant fruiting. This is a compact, decorative plant of an ampelous (hanging) type, about 0.8 m tall, excellent for growing in containers, hanging baskets, on balconies, and in open ground. The fruits are small, oblong, plum-shaped, weighing 15-25 g. The coloring is expressive: a brown-bronze background with green stripes, giving the clusters an impressive and unusual appearance. The skin is quite dense, allowing the fruits to hold their shape well and be suitable for transportation.
Up to 20 fruits can form in a single cluster, and at full ripeness, the plant is literally covered with neat "mini-plums." The flesh is dense and juicy. The taste is sweet, with a slight piquancy and barely noticeable tannic notes, making the variety interesting not only visually but also gastronomically. Such tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption and drying. The variety is mid-season, distinguished by very high yield and stable fruit set. Thanks to its compactness and ampelous form, it is ideal for those who want to combine decorativeness and a bountiful harvest in a limited space.
