ORANGE WELLINGTON. A mid-season, indeterminate, high-yielding tomato variety with increased disease resistance. The plants are vigorous and dense, reaching a height of 1.5 to 1.7 meters in open ground. They have abundant foliage and produce a large number of fruit clusters, ensuring stable and heavy yields even under unfavorable weather conditions. The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases such as late blight, early blight, leaf mold (Cladosporium), and tobacco mosaic virus.
Fruits are round, bright orange, uniform in shape and size, weighing between 200 and 280 grams. The tomatoes are dense, meaty, juicy, with a rich sweet taste and pleasant fruity aroma. Thanks to the high content of sugars and dry matter, they are ideal both for fresh consumption and for processing — including juices, sauces, pastes, and canning. They are also notable for good transportability and long shelf life without losing their marketable appearance.
These qualities make it possible to reduce the use of chemical treatments and grow the variety in a more environmentally friendly way. The variety is particularly attractive for farmers and commercial production. The seeds were purchased in the USA, which confirms their high quality and authenticity. The variety has already proven to be reliable and productive in various climatic zones.
