OREGON HEAVEN. A rare, mid-season tomato variety developed in the USA, distinguished by its high yield, unusual coloring, and excellent flavor. The plants are strong and tall, reaching 160–180 cm in height, so they require sturdy support and regular tying. The bushes have attractive potato-leaf foliage, which gives them a distinctive appearance. With proper care, the plants produce an abundant crop of uniquely colored fruits.
The tomatoes are round to heart-shaped, with a small pointed tip at the top, and weigh around 80 g. As they ripen, they develop a striking combination of dark red, purple, and indigo-blue shades. The rich colors and glossy skin make the fruits particularly eye-catching. Their dark coloration is associated with a high content of anthocyanins. Under favorable growing conditions, the fruits are resistant to cracking and remain firmly attached to the plants.
The flesh is juicy and sweet, with a pleasant exotic, fruity flavor and aroma. Thanks to their excellent taste, these tomatoes are best enjoyed fresh, especially in salads and sliced vegetable platters. Their unusual coloring makes them a real highlight of the summer table. The smaller fruits can also be used for homemade preserves. This versatile variety combines attractive appearance with outstanding flavor.
The plants are highly resistant to many diseases and temperature fluctuations, making them easier to grow under a range of conditions. For a generous harvest, provide the bushes with sufficient sunlight, fertile soil, and regular care. Given their considerable height, it is advisable to install sturdy supports in advance. With proper growing practices, the variety will reward you with an abundance of beautiful, delicious tomatoes. It is an excellent choice both for home consumption and for adding an unusual variety to a tomato collection.
