OSH GIANT. An old variety traditionally grown in the south of Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Osh. Mid-season, tall, indeterminate type. In open ground, plants reach 1.6-1.8 m, requiring staking and regular training. The bush is vigorous, well-developed, distinguished by stable yield under various growing conditions. The fruits are large and very large, weighing 300-800 g, and can be even larger with good agricultural practices.
The shape is flat-round, with possible slight ribbing. The color is red, rich. The flesh is dense, meaty, juicy, with a small number of seed cavities. The taste is sweet, "watermelon-like," with a light refreshing tartness, while being well-balanced and rich. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, slicing, and salads.
