PILLAR™ CATCH ORANGE. A compact ornamental variety that forms neat plants about 20 cm tall. The bush is determinate, with an upright, tidy habit, ideal for growing in small pots and on windowsills. Ripening occurs approximately 65 days after germination. The fruits are bright orange, firm and glossy, with no tendency to crack. They resemble miniature lemons in shape, but variations may also occur — pear-shaped, plum-shaped, or heart-shaped.
The fruits are about 3 cm in size, gathered in small clusters and look very decorative. The flesh is dense and juicy. The taste is wonderful — sweet, with a slight tart aroma and a distinct fruity note. In terms of sweetness, it is rated very highly (up to 5+ points), which is rare for such compact varieties. The tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption and snacking straight from the plant.
