PINK SAPPHIRE. An impressive variety obtained as a result of crossing by Dean Slater. Later, Brad Gates worked with this line, carrying out stabilization and fixing its unique traits. A tall variety with an average plant height of 1.5-1.8 m. The bushes are vigorous, well-developed, with rare decorative leaf variegation. In hot weather, the variegated foliage may wilt slightly during the period of active fruit ripening, which is associated with the characteristics of pigmented tissues.
The fruits weigh 60-120 g, neat, uniform, hold well on the clusters, and remain on the plant for a long time without losing quality. After full ripening, they develop beautiful metallic stripes, giving the tomatoes an unusual, almost pearly sheen. Yield is above average, fruit set is stable. Beneath the impressive exterior lies a rich sweet flavor with a light delicate tang and a harmonious aftertaste. The variety combines decorative appeal, stability, and expressive taste qualities.
