PURPLE TIGER. An extremely early variety, close to ultra-early in ripening time, yet highly productive, capable of delivering a stable harvest even in short-summer conditions. The plant is compact, low-growing, with a neat rounded shape, composed of many thin but sturdy stems, reaching up to 60 cm in height. It requires no complicated pruning and is well-suited for both open ground and container growing. Excellent for fresh eating as well as for canning. The fruits feature a striking and memorable coloration: pink-brown skin adorned with dark green stripes, giving them an exotic appearance.
The flesh is pink, with green gel around the seeds, dense, juicy, and meaty. The flavor is well-balanced, richly sweet with a slight tang that makes it especially pleasant and refreshing. Each cluster sets 5 to 8 fruits, weighing between 20 and 60 g. Thanks to its uniform and early ripening, the harvest can be enjoyed at the very start of the season, while the decorative color makes this variety a true garden gem.
