RAINBOW CHERRY. An indeterminate, early-maturing bicolor cherry tomato variety. It is a miniature version of the famous Big Rainbow tomato. The plant is vigorous and requires staking and regular pruning. It is known for its stable, high yields and extended fruiting period. The bush is powerful, needs plenty of growing space, and continues producing fruit until late in the season. The trusses are relatively small, but the large number of stems ensures excellent overall productivity.
The fruits are small, slightly flattened, yellow-and-pink bicolors weighing 20–30 g. They measure 1.5–3 cm in diameter and have slight ribbing around the stem end. The striking two-tone coloration with smooth transitions between shades gives the fruits an exceptionally attractive appearance. The flesh is tender and juicy. The flavor is distinctly sweet, well-balanced, and harmonious. An excellent variety for fresh eating, garnishing dishes, and whole-fruit preserving.
