REBEL STARFIGHTER KAYLEIGH ANNE. A 2023 breeding novelty from Russell Crow – one of the spectacular and delicious anthocyanin varieties of modern breeding. Obtained by crossing Snow White Cherry and Rebel Starfighter Prime, it combines the qualities of both parents: sweetness, high yield, and a truly fantastic appearance. The plants are vigorous, powerful, with a regular leaf type, reaching heights of up to 1.8 m. The variety is early-ripening, with a very long fruiting period – the bushes are laden with fruit throughout the season.
Yield is exceptionally high, a solid 5+ points even compared to the best collection varieties. The fruits are oval, heart-shaped, neat and uniform, weighing 50-120 g, with individual specimens significantly exceeding the stated weight. The main color is bright yellow, adorned with expressive purple stripes, streaks, and anthocyanin brushstrokes, especially noticeable on the sun-exposed side. The tomatoes do not crack, hold well on the clusters, and retain an attractive marketable appearance.
The flesh is juicy, tender, without excessive wateriness. The flavor is a real surprise: very sweet, rich, fruity, with a rich aroma and a long, pleasant aftertaste. In terms of taste qualities, the variety deservedly scores 5+ points and easily ranks among the favorites even of experienced collectors.
