RED BARN, USA. Early pink beefsteak of medium + size. The plant reaches 2.0 m. in open ground, vigorous, with thick stems and high yield. Each truss forms 5–6 fruits weighing 350–400 g. Shape – round-flattened, color – delicate pink. Very dense fruits with perfect marketability and excellent shelf life. Inside – very juicy, sweet, and meltingly tender flesh!
Tall, mid-season, and highly productive variety. Uniform giant fruits without spots or cracks, beautiful, matte, deep red. The flesh is also deeply colored. The fruits are meaty, juicy, sweet, with outstanding flavor and aroma. A super variety, hit of the 2018 and 2019 seasons! The heaviest harvest in weight was collected from this variety.
History of the variety: Bred by Father Joe Bratko. Joe found seeds in glass jars in a barn but was unable to germinate any. He sent the seeds to Dr. Carolyn Male, who managed to germinate them, grow fruits, and share this wonderful variety with other gardeners. Top marks in all categories! The flavor is rich and bright. Highly recommended!
