RED ELEPHANT. A mid-season, high-yielding variety of sweet pepper with striking elongated-conical fruits and excellent taste qualities. The variety is valued for its stability, large fruit size, and attractive appearance. The plants are vigorous, well-developed, up to 90 cm tall. The bush is strong, with a developed root system, withstands the load of large fruits, and produces a stable harvest with good care both in open ground and in greenhouses. The fruits are long, cone-shaped, neatly elongated, up to 22 cm long and about 6 cm wide.
The weight varies from 130-150 g to 210 g depending on growing conditions. The peppers are uniform, marketable, with a smooth surface and a beautiful shape. At the technical maturity stage, the color is green; at biological maturity, it is deep dark red. The color transition is uniform, and the fruits look bright and attractive. The flesh is dense, juicy, sweet, with a pronounced pleasant taste without bitterness. The pepper is excellent for fresh consumption, salads, baking, stuffing, and processing. Due to its elongated shape, it is convenient for slicing and culinary use.
