RED LANTERNS ARE BURNING. A mid-season tall variety reaching about 1.5 m in height. The plants are sturdy, well-leafed, with a simple leaf type, forming a stable and productive bush. It is distinguished by stable fruit set and good yield delivery. Fruits weigh 140-230 g, bright red, with an anthocyanin coating on the shoulders on the sun-facing side. It is precisely this combination of a saturated red color and a dark purple tint that gives them the effect of "glowing" lanterns.
The shape is neat, slightly elongated or round, very expressive and decorative. The tomatoes look so bright and rich that they truly resemble festive lanterns more than ordinary fruits. The color contrast is especially beautifully displayed in good lighting. The taste is rich, harmonious, sweet with a light refreshing tang. The flesh is dense, juicy, meaty. The variety combines decorative appeal, original coloration, and excellent taste qualities deserving a high rating.
