RICHARDSON. An indeterminate, high-yielding, mid-season variety. The plant is vigorous, up to 2 m tall, well-foliated, with regular leaves. Requires staking and pruning, characterized by a stable set of large fruits. The fruits are large to very large, weighing from 300 g to 1-1.5 kg. It is a beefsteak type, dark pink in color, dense, with slight ribbing. The appearance is striking and marketable. The flesh is fleshy, dense, juicy, with few seeds. The taste is excellent, balanced, harmonious, with pronounced sweetness and a slight acidity.
