I’m thrilled with this variety. The fruits are beautiful and exotic, dark purple on top with a pink blush on the bottom. They were the most abundant in my greenhouse, forming a cascade on the plant. And in terms of taste, they were the best, sweet and pleasant. Even when ripened off the vine, they remained the tastiest and most attractive. Overall, they were the highlight of my salads, both in color and in flavor.

This year I grew it in open ground. It stood out from my other indigo varieties — both beautiful and tasty. However, like many other varieties this summer, the yield was not great.

The tomatoes were unbelievably beautiful - probably the most stunning variety I grew this season. The color is hard to describe: a warm pink at the base, transitioning into bluish-purple splashes, and then into a solid violet on the shoulders. Truly a treasure of a variety. The taste was also a pleasant surprise, very flavorful with a nice sweetness. The average fruit weight was around 120-150 grams.

This year I grew two blue varieties: Amethyst Jewel and Blue Smurf. I liked both, I guess blue tomatoes are just my thing. They were sweet with a delicate fruity flavor. Amethyst Jewel was especially productive, I’ll definitely grow it again.

I agree with the description. This tomato is excellent at every stage - from flowering to eating.

A winner and favorite in many rankings, and rightfully so. It impressed with both yield and flavor, which leans toward sweetness. Like most “blue” tomatoes, it has noticeable fruity notes. It’s similar to other anthocyanin-rich varieties, though it seemed more productive to me. The plant is not tall (about 1.5 meters in a greenhouse) and matures mid-season. A beautiful and reliable variety.

Grew it for the second year. The yield was good, but this year the flavor was just plain tomato — no sweetness. In my opinion, Blue Beauty tastes better.

I bought the seeds about three years ago at a market. This variety showed some segregation. Two of the plants grew tall and produced red fruits with a sweet flavor. One plant was of medium height and gave blue fruits with pink marbling, their flavor turned out to be spicy.
