ROGERO. A tall, mid-ripening, and highly productive variety that has proven itself both in amateur and professional vegetable growing. In open ground, plants reach about 1.8 meters in height, forming a strong stem and well-leafed clusters, which protect the fruits from sunburn and help them retain their marketable appearance for a long time. The fruits are medium to large, with a smooth, glossy surface, rich color, and thick, firm skin. Their taste is well-balanced, without excessive acidity, making them excellent both fresh and for processing — ideal for salads, sauces, juices, and whole-fruit canning.
The variety stands out for its stable and high yields. With proper care, it produces abundant clusters with fruits of nearly uniform size. The harvest is truly impressive — one of the best of the season. The tomatoes are resistant to cracking and do not develop blemishes, even with fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Thanks to these qualities, the harvest stores well and is perfectly suited for long-distance transport, retaining freshness and an attractive appearance. Inside, the tomatoes are multi-chambered, fleshy, moderately juicy, with a rich sweetness rated 5 out of 5.
