ROSY (RUMYANY). A low-growing, mid-season variety with very high yield. The bush height is 50-70 cm (20-28 inches), very productive. The stated fruit weight is up to 500 g (1.1 lbs), but I didn’t have any that size; they were up to 250 g (9 oz), maybe a little more. The taste is a solid 4 (out of 5).The bush is vigorous, sturdy, forms a large number of fruit sets, and is characterized by a stable harvest.
Suitable for growing in open ground. The color is rich and attractive. The fruits are uniform, large for a low-growing variety, with no tendency to crack. The flesh is fleshy, dense, and juicy. The variety is valued for its combination of compact bush and large fruit size, suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
