ROZALUX. A new Bulgarian tomato variety. A modern, high-yielding tomato that stands out for its stable productivity and excellent market qualities of the fruit. Belongs to the mid-early group, allowing harvest already in the first half of the season. Plants are tall, vigorous, with strong thick stems and well-developed foliage. Internodes are short or medium, making the plants compact and easy to train.
The variety requires staking and pruning but rewards with abundant clusters of large fruits. Fruits are one of the main advantages of this variety: they have an attractive pink color, flat-round shape, smooth or slightly ribbed surface around the peduncle. The peduncle is short, which makes harvesting easier and improves market appearance. Fruit size is impressive: large to very large, weighing 380-800 g, with some specimens reaching even higher weight.
CHARACTERISTICS
Fruits are multi-chambered, dense, meaty, and characteristically juicy. The taste is well-balanced – sweet and sour, rich, with a pronounced tomato aroma, making the variety valuable both for fresh consumption and processing. The variety also shows excellent transportability and shelf life, important for farmers and commercial growers. The flesh is not watery and does not crack.
Recommended for cultivation both in open field and plastic greenhouses. Under proper agricultural practices, this variety proves to be among the best of the season, combining yield, quality, and fruit attractiveness.
