ROZMAY, GREEN STRIPED (Ukraine). An entirely new variety from Oleksii Kulyk, which had the technical name "Green Striped" just last season. It was Oleksii Ivanovych who bred this variety. The plant is wide and trouble-free. A mid-season variety with round green fruits, the entire surface of which is covered in pink streaks.
The plants are very strong, densely covered with shoots, and reach a height of 1.8 meters. Yield is very high. The fruits are of excellent appearance and taste. Very meaty, dense, without cracks, spots, worms, or rot, with great market appeal and wonderful flavor—sweet and rich.
USES OF ROZMAY TOMATOES
Ideal for canning, market sale, or tomato paste. Great for fresh consumption. Not tough, but very meaty. They store for a very long time without losing quality—almost unmatched among green-fruited varieties. Fruits weigh up to 90 g, with a sweet flavor rated 5+ out of 5. Rozmay means “blooming and vibrant greenery”!
Fruits weigh 140–160 g, consistently uniform, with full clusters containing 6–7 fruits each. The variety is high-yielding and disease-resistant. Fruits do not crack or fall off the plant. When cut, the tomatoes are incredibly aromatic and vibrant—the flesh is melt-in-your-mouth tender, like drinking a liqueur—very juicy, with a fruity-spicy taste! Top score for ultra-vivid flesh and flavor!
