RUBY GOGOSHAR (GOGOSHAR RUBINOVYY). An original sweet pepper variety of the Gogoshar type, with fruits of unusual shape and rich flavor. The variety has Moldovan origin and was later adapted and refined in Ukraine. The plant produces a stable harvest and is distinguished by good taste qualities. The fruits are round, flattened, lobed, resembling a miniature pumpkin in shape. The color is a rich, attractive, and bright red.
The flesh is very tender, fleshy, with a wall thickness of 7 mm or more. The taste is sweet with a honeyed undertone, while having a slight piquancy — not spicy, but reminiscent of concentrated Hungarian paprika. It has a subtle aroma. The variety is excellent for fresh consumption, salads, stuffing, and various types of processing, valued for its unique flavor and original fruit shape.
