RUSTED SOUL (ZARZHAVEVSHAYA DUSHA, Ierūsējusi dvēsele). This variety was sent to me by a well-known Latvian breeder — Valdis Pulinsh, who is also the creator of the variety. The name is both beautiful and full of meaning. I’m truly grateful to him for this incredibly flavorful tomato! It is mid-season, with a strong plant that grows up to 1.7 m in open ground.
Each truss forms 3–4 fruits weighing between 350 and 500 g. This variety reminded me of the taste of the beloved “Rusted Heart”, which undoubtedly makes this newcomer especially valuable. The flavor is exceptional — sweet, with tender flesh that literally melts and disappears in the mouth. The skin is very thin and almost unnoticeable when eaten. It’s pure rich juice.
COLOR AND FLESH OF THE RUSTED SOUL VARIETY:
The color is also unusual: bronze-brown with a greenish tint and a red top, from which rays spread out. Those who have tried "the soul" will never forget the fullness of flavor and the scale of sweetness. This is the criterion for the perfect taste and sweetness! The flesh is juicy and melting, aromatic, and with a high level of sweetness, even for a bicolor! One of the brightest colors of the planting season - green with a bright red tie and olive gel! High yield.
