SEKAI ICHI, Japan. Mid-season productive novelty variety. Also an excellent snacker and slicer. The fruits are perfectly firm, do not leak, and store well. Ideal for sandwiches and as the main tomato crop for market sales. The flesh is also dense, juicy, with thick partitions and medium-sized seed chambers.
The name translates as “The Best.” Fruits are very firm, crack-resistant, round or oval, weighing 130–250 g, marketable in appearance and quality, meaty, juicy, with an incredibly strong aroma. The taste is rich and unusual – a real explosion of flavor in the mouth. Few varieties can match it.
A delicious variety with a balanced sweet and tangy taste. The plant grows to 1.1 m, of medium strength, with 4–5 fruits per cluster weighing 220–300 g. The yield is above average. Excellent for processing or making preserves. Seeds of this variety were purchased by us in France.
