SERBIAN HOMEGROWN PEAR. A tall, mid-season variety of Serbian origin, valued for its stable yield, unpretentiousness, and beautiful pear-shaped fruits of a rich red color. The plant is indeterminate, vigorous, densely foliated, with simple leaves. In open ground, the height reaches about 1.5 m, and in favorable conditions it can grow up to 1.7-2 m. The bush is strong, well-leafed, forms stable clusters, and fruits confidently both in open and protected ground. The fruits are pear-shaped, uniform, deep red.
The average weight is 100-200 g depending on growing conditions and plant load; individual fruits can reach 150 g. The tomatoes are neat, dense, and hold their shape well. The flesh is tender, juicy, with a harmonious balanced taste — sweetness is complemented by a light, pleasant tartness. The taste is rich, classic tomato, without wateriness. The fruits are of universal purpose: excellent fresh, suitable for salads, and also ideal for whole-fruit canning.
The variety is characterized by high yield — with good care, you can get up to 4 kg per bush. The fruits have good shelf life and transportability, making them convenient both for personal use and for sale. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to form the plants into 1-2 stems.
